Obsolete Caches and Code

conduits were chosen
from among the obscure
humble and hidden

powerful mystics
sharp scholars
truth tellers
iconoclastic
cerebral, spiritual
quiet but determined

until called
to sound the alarm

fact finders
sense makers
lie detectors

number
crunchers
data counters
confounder
revealers

shackle
breakers
greed refusers

true healers
but only for those
with uncorrupted
radio receivers
cleared tabulators

for the conscious co-opted
the din of fear and virtue sirens
consumption noises
were too deafening

they'd not hear
liberation's call

their caches and decayed code
programmed and obsolete compliance
heavy ledges and tight digits

would not survive the reset

Whilst I absolutely agree with decentralization of governmental power and the removal of monetary inspired corruption in a our political system; I am not entirely against some regulation in crypto.

Income is hidden and as such tax evasion is happening. We should limit the laws on the individual and her freedom but we also (if we want to maintain civilization) offer a social safety net, education, and roads and such; then we need tax dollars to do it.

Mind you if we did away with income tax and shifted entirely to property, sales, and services taxes we could streamline the system and tax consumption and utilization more than income. That might be a better solution and make sure those high living billionaires paid their share when they decided personally to go to space and build monster yachts rather than donate to charity (like in real way and not with a 'foundation".

Trading and investing in crypto has a bit of a daunting entry knowledge level and yes being unregulated has meant people have lost their investments when an exchange went belly up. Huge service fees. A little regulation is not a bad thing. But we should resist with all our efforts the introduction of a programmable coin in the hands of our governments. If we didn't know before with the failure of communists countries that centralized, one size fits all decision making is a recipe for failure, poverty, and tyranny, we should know by now with the incredibly poor and uniform response to C-19.

Nuance and multiple loci of influence and decision-making are super powers of reason and problem solving; let's use them more often.

(Did you notice a little riff of aqua net among the reek of corruption today coming off the Thames? Justin is in London today ... feel free to keep him.)

What of ancient masters …
Few are remembered

Appearances change
Personalities change
One era’s virtue
Is another’s sin

The internal foe knows to mimic virtue
It knows to mask sin

Remain fluid
receptive, and patient

Do not model yourself
On another

Welcome all that is
Mastery will find you
