When i walk my dog around the neighborhood in the spring time, i always keep an eye out for hummingbird nests.
last year, the nest that i was watching had a couple of eggs, but they didn't make it. this year, momma built a nest a few branches away and i noticed a pair of eggs appear last week. well, this weekend...babies :). as you can see, their eyes haven't opened yet and they barely have any feathers.
