Hi Guys!
Finally - the last gallery from my roadtrip to Northern Norway.
The last day on Lofoten Islands, we decided to explore some other areas of Vestvagoy Island.
The beginning of this day You caould see in my latest post here: https://peakd.com/photography/@photovisions/norway24-24-last-day-last-explor
The idea of this explor was to go forward and stop by the road every time we will see something interesting - great vistas, interesting places and objects, moody scenes or some animals ;).
First spot was incredible - the view towards the shoreline with amazing mountains, layers of colours, patches of light, nice clouds on the sky - the beauty of this landscape was irresistible.
Such spots are amazing - every time I find them I always imagine how it can look like in different conditions and seasons. I really wish to have this opportunity to live somewhere nearby and visit such places from time to time. I am sure it will look good every time because it has all the elements required for succesfull composition - great mountains, perspective, open space with nice shoreline, the sea, open sky, some elements in the foreground...
Another place by the shore, another beautiful view towards the mountains on the other side of the bay...
This part of the Vestwagoy Island has many incredible mountain ranges which I totally don't know yet.
This area is not so popular as the Moskenesoya Island, Reine area, where most of the tourism is focused.
I really wish to have some more time on Lofoten to explore these less popular places which has also a lot to offer and has probably many photographic spots which still waiting to be discovered...
Our next stop was a beach and shoreline near the Church in Valberg.
Very quiet and peaceful place, the church is located close to the shore, facing the open horizon over the sea. The village is surrounded by mountains and has this vibe of forgotten place...
Little beach is a mix of sand and interesting looking rocks with a lot of shells and corals.
We spent there some time wandering around and enjoing the relaxing energy of this place...
On the way back to our place we stopped by the road to catch this amazing sun rays over the mountains, sea bay and small settlement on the shore...
Closer to our base on Moskenesoya the light was already gone, it was late and cloudy - landscape became really dramatic, I love the colour palette here. Dark, dramatic, moody, not so pleasant but very nostalgic...
This was the end of our stay on Lofoten.
At night I went out the cabin to feel the Lofoten's air for the last time... I can truly say - I love this place! I love The North!
Who never been there won't understand the feeling of energetic, fresh air, how it smells, how amazing it is!
The nature the is PURE! Personally I feel much better when I am there - probably my body prefer such climate and my mind is working much better in open, vast, clear landscapes...
I will definitely go back there one day and I will plan my stay for a longer time to have the oportunity for longer and much wilder explorations.
Hope You enjoyed the series from Norwegian roadtrip - it is probably one of the longest series of galleries on my blog.
If You liked it - check out the previous posts. It was amazing trip and I hope I will be able to make something similar in this year as well.
CHEERS!
UNTIL THE NEXT ONE!
