Hi There!
Still on Lofoten Archipelago, still the same day as in the three previous posts :) It was just a long day full of interesting places...
Next one we visited that day was an island called Sakrisøy - first island on the way between Reine and Hamnoy.
The best view on the whole island and surroundiongs we can get by hiking a little up the hill on the other side of the sea bay.
From this position we can see the amazing landscape of Lofoten in its best form - the mosaic of islands, mountains, colorful houses in small villages, harbors, shallow sea bay, orcky shoreline...
All in One - one of the best spots for photography in this area!
To get the full view of the area before me I decided to take a really wide panoramic shot - these were made from 6-7 single horizontal frames...
Maybe they are not the best in a composition point of view but it is just the documentation of how it looks like - panorama almost 180'
Just imagine this place in wintertime, with Aurora Borealis on the sky, reflection in the water below the line of mountains... or beautiful white winter and purple snow lighten up by rising sun on the Southern edge of horizon...
This place has so many faces, such a huge potential for catching totally different moods, conditions, weather and light...
I hope You liked the series, next time I will show You our last day on Lofoten and another amazing area of the islands we visited.
Stay tuned! Take care!
MERRY CHRISTMAS :).
