On our third day in Bali we decided to check out Uluwatu temple. Uluwatu is on the south-western tip of the Bukit Peninsula of Bali, Indonesia. It is home to the Pura Luhur Uluwatu Temple and is apparently the number four surf destination in the world.
We decided to hire a driver for the day which was the best decision ever. It was cheaper than taxi's, more convinient than busses, and he was so great and informative that we ended up hiring him again for a trip to Ubud (post to come!).
Uluwatu is about a 45 minute drive from seminyak and well worth the visit. It's super hot and unprotected in areas, so be sure to bring a hat, water, sunscreen etc. Before you enter be sure to get a sarong (that they provide) to cover your legs as it is a temple.
The views are just breathtaking....
The pathway follows the cliffs around, can you see it?
So Gorgeous! and the cliffs aren't to bad either
;)
