What truly amazes me is that there is never one morning which is the same...

The following set of photos were all taken between 06:00 and 06:30 in the morning with sunrise over Johannesburg and the Western suburbs. It was taken between the months of February and early May, the autumn months in South Africa.

We have a saying in Afrikaans, one of our official languages, “die oggendstond het goud in die mond” which translated into English means “the early morning have all the gold”.

I hope you enjoy them as much as what I did when I took them.
