Oh the wonders of it all.
Perhaps it is the majestic beauty of it, or perhaps something else. Either way, the clouds above have lead folks to contemplate heaven for millennia, and I too have been caught gazing into the sky and wondering about it all. Now obviously God does not live up in the clouds and there are not majestic cities within, next to that "silver lining." Still, the beauty of it all is incredible, and we are blessed to be able to behold it. Here are a few recent photos of a "city, far, far away." Enjoy!

Whenever there is a particularly beautiful sky, sunset, or rise, or any natural beauty that captures my attention, I try to do what you have done here, enjoy it, celebrate it and acknowledge God for it.
Why? Because I believe in a God that is completely sovereign, meaning over all things, including the weather, and that as the Bible says knew all the days of my life before there were any. So therefore, He knew I would stand in a given spot, and see a given cloud formation, and I like to imagine He in that way made it specifically for my enjoyment.
Its the same way how salvation was earned for everyone who accepts Jesus, but also specifically for me personally. There is a personalness to the gifts he gives, where yes its for everyone, but in particular He was thinking of ME, and YOU, when he made that particular day, and particular cloud formation, etc.
:)

well sir, great job with photos..once again.
I think it's a blessing and a huge advantage to be able to live in the country just to see scenes like that almost daily.
God bless the tribe!
Hi,
You have a good imagination. Keep up your creativity.
the beauty of nature...
aaaaahhh... the places your imagination can take you.... wondrous places with flightless birds, lizards older than dinosaurs, and insects even older than them.... where the people are friendly and the weather is.....
...well, to be fair, the weather is crap. It's all those clouds you see - it makes it rain all the time. Good for the garden, not so good for picnics.
It's too wet for turtles (they get 'swamp shell') and snakes (they get 'trench belly'). But the seals and penguins don't seem to mind. And it's all water of a duck's back to the Whio (the world's only extreme sports bird).
So, enjoy your summer, with long warm days and dry skies, and relax and daydream of fantastic places.... that's what log summer days are for ;-)
Really beautiful shots of the land far, far away,@papa-pepper! They do like there could be a castle or city hidden behind those majestic clouds...
beautiful scenery, friend please help me upvote yes.
