Hello steemguys!
It's been a long time I didn't write anything here. The reason is that I was in Africa with NICOLA's music project teams where I collected some great shots. They all are a reflection of the natural beauty which is anchored everywhere in Dakar. I'm sure that same goes for the entire African continent. Far away from consumer societies, I could feel a depth in all what I saw, as in every glance I met on those long streets. I could tell you a million things but I'm sure that pictures are doing it better.
"After bread, education is the first need of people"
I came back with a luggage full of deep emotions. I've always thought that pictures speak for themselves making us understand what we see through our subjectivity. It's sure we all feel different things in front of a picture even if we use the same words, because words mean different things also depending on how we use and feel them. I spent a lot of time there people-watching to see how they live, how they walk, how they talk with each other, how they seat, how they eat, how they smile... The word I can use to summarize all I felt about them all is "natural". They are natural. They act so as natural. They look at you naturally. Nothing there can be felt as fake. People are full of colors, like buses, like dresses, like walls and like plants. I feel as I need to go there one more time to stay more. It truly worth it.
Love you Senegal, damala beugue sama biir xol.
