Okanagan Valley BC, Canada

in #photography7 years ago (edited)

I saw Yesterday that you showed some great interest to see more beautiful photos from British Columbia. We only visited Okanagan Valley, which is stretching beside Okanagan Lake. A lot of forests, fruit trees, berries and also grape. I was really surprised. Before I moved to Canada in my mind was only cold, hockey and polar bears. I never expect to find peaches and wine here. Amazing. Sorry, no text today: it's my day off. Just enjoy my photos.

That's all for today.
No art, just real life, baby.

Live it now!

That fruit stand looks delicious - the fruit that is.

That picture of the houses as you look down from the mountains is stunning. If the mountain scale and color was slightly different it could pass for Switzerland.

Canada and fruits. It's difficult to put those two words in on sentence. When I saw the sign: Fruits from British Columbia for the first time in a store, I was thinking that it's just some kind of marketing trick. The fruits are great.

amazing photos, you got some great captures there, it makes me want to go back to the valley!

@oltimer great holiday. Wonderful experience, Some day I want to visit. And enjoy the beauty of nature.

Peace
@usmanosama

Buy local veggies and support the economy

Yes, sir!

The roads carved into the rocks... True Rocky Mountains experience!

Yes indeed. I tried to show different aspects of the landscape of this part of BC. I even copied one photo twice, he,he. Who cares?

Nice, i like it the your post, thanks. And resteem @ahlawat

Extensive documentation gives a great understanding of the area! Thanks!

Okanagan Valley is really a nice place,No words for praise,Everything is fresh and clean.Thank you for sharing with us such amazing places.

It's really clean for sure. Thanks for commenting.

I had never seen such big cherries before :О

Nice place i hope to visite it

Great pics! I'm heading up your way next week :)
Going to Nelson for the first time ever -- can't wait!

Cheers! from @thedamus

Just on time. Enjoy.

Those evergreens and that community around the lake! Le sigh....

I think that this must be some kind of vacation properties for summer. I'm not sure.

They are beautiful none the less!

I heard Canada is awesome because you can experience all four season! The fruit does look amazing. MmMMm

The only bad thing is that the worst one is the longest. Winter could persist for seven months here. Real winter!

Winter is coming... 😱😱😱 haha do you watch Game of Thrones? 🤣

Sorry. No TV.

I don't usually watch TV. I just make an exception for this show. But that's a pretty good way to live. No real need for TV. Real life is better 😊

I like photos. Besides isn't a picture worth a thousand words.

You right. Thanks.

That suburb right on the hill is so beautiful. All of it is, such great forests!

The only bad thing is wild fires. They have a pretty bad situation last month.

Those cherries look legit!

The cherries from the Okanagan are world class. The farmers export huge quantities to Dubai and China. So delicious and juicy.

Cool. I didn't know that.Thanks.

They are really crispy. Funny thing is they are ripe in July and August.

Nice photography which DSLR you use ?

Have a nice day, good morning

you never fail to amaze all of us with your post's so fascinating to watch :D

This is my hometown!! I'm from Kelowna. I'm living in China now so this is pretty surprising to see this on my Steemit feed! Did you take in any wine tours while you were there?

We just pass through. The country is so big. Good idea for next time.

This fresh food it looks so good :) I want it :)
Can you send for me some in mailbox ?

Try at Wallmart first, ha,ha.

No...no...not this.. then I not want food :(( I not use this fake Wallmart .

nice post

What a beautiful place you live in. Fresh fruits, fresh air and I don't see traffic jams which is good and gives productivity to all.

Thanks for sharing - admittedly we have not often ventured into the Okanagan area. We were around Salmon arm a few years ago and we were going to go back but haven't yet. Really must go, for now I will live vicariously through your photos ;)

Love the post - Great content - Great Pictures and the perfect outlook on life!! ENJOY LIFE!

I want to eat those fruits
