After we were done with photo shooting in the Ice sculpture tent we were quite frozen.
Luckily the organizers were smart enough to take the advantage of frozen people. They lift the liquor tent too. Just beside the first one. And they also put the heaters in.
Let's do it.
All local brewers and ATM. How convenient.
The ice bench. Brrrr.
We chose some kind of sour whiskey.
That's what we were looking for. Cad $8 per shot. The admission for the exhibition was $7.
After two icy hours, we find a shelter in the cozy pizzeria.
I would never trade this bench for the ice one. I even forgot to take the photo of the pizza. We were too hungry to think about that. Sorry.
This slogan was very actual and popular on steemit a long ago although I didn't understand it in full.

Yes stay off the ice bench.... it looks like torture! The pizzeria looks much more welcoming with the nice brick oven.
Maybe they want your ass get glued to the bench to stay longer.

What a unique experience! I'd assume an ice bar would serve hot cider! The pizzeria is pretty much the perfect contrast. I would be suspicious if you did remember to take a picture to be honest!

What did you choose to drink?? The morning glory looks very intriguing. And also, I'm trying to figure out what the pliers were for. As a bartender for 15 years I rarely got the opportunity to use them at my bar. Lol Loving the pictures. You are adding to my list of things to do when I check Edmonton off my travel bucket list. Gotta get there to visit my dad.
Maybe they use pliers in ice bars only. We'd drink whiskey with some sour stuff added. My brains didn't work well in that cold when we ordering. I just heard whiskey and said: two. I actually didn't like it, but it was too late.
It looks amazing. Must be freezing, but very good work. For that cold place you need definitely Whisky or Vodka :)

This ice bar is pretty awesome ! In north of Sweden we have an Ice hotel, I hope I can take @damira there - but I'm sure for the room rate you need a lot of cold cash

All the photos are lovely, but I particularly like the one of the pizza oven. It is quite beautifully decorated. And coming in from the cold, such a bold red setting could only have been warming and heartwarming!
