Finally, the storm calmed down, the rain subsided until it stopped altogether and we seemed to have had a little break to squeeze and rake the water, which seemed to fill every slit and space.
After two days in which we were practically locked inside our house, my girlfriend and I decided to take a short walk to the oak grove next to our house to look for edible mushrooms and wild asparagus.
In the pine grove, we found several types of mushrooms, one of which was identified by my girl as an Agaricus bisporus which is edible but we weren't sure so we just took some shots and left it be.
Agaricus bisporus is an excellent mushroom, known and loved by everyone, grown in fields, gardens and grazing areas throughout the winter season.
The face of its' hat is sometimes smooth and white but can be slightly yellowish, light brown and even cracked in scales, especially in relatively dry conditions.
In contrast to the unpleasant smell of poisonous species, the odor of the mushroom is fungal and pleasant or almond-like.
The color of the "fleshy" parts changes in a slightly reddish or slightly orange color.
Probably everyone knows the Russian name of these mushrooms - because it is the same as the familiar French name: "Champignon".
Which in French translation means simply "mushroom".
I do not know for sure why this mushroom got its Hebrew name "Peku'a".
Although I have often met it in the fields and in fresh meadows, and on the way out of the ground they lift with their strong hats large clumps of earth.
Enjoy!

Good thing the storm is over, I'm glad you can go explore and see what you get like these very wet mushrooms
The storm should be back at the end of the week so we got a few sunny days ahead 😃
