The Perito Moreno glacier
Last Sunday, one of the most impressive natural spectacles in the world took place: the collapse of the ice masses that form the most picturesque area of the Perito Moreno glacier, in southern Argentina.
The natural collapse of the arch or bridge that the Perito Moreno glacier forms on the Magallanes peninsula of Lago Argentino, had not occurred since March 2016.
This phenomenon always attracts hundreds of tourists, although this time the collapse occurred without public due to the special security operation that closed the place to the public during the night.
