A week ago I wrote a record about Kamchatka. Black-and-white photos and a lot of fog. It could seem that Kamchatka is a very gloomy place, where there is always bad weather. So I decided to show other color photos.
And if you ever have the opportunity to fly over Kamchatka - do it necessarily. It is difficult to find a more beautiful place. There are mountains and floods of rivers, and a beautiful coastline and much more. There is only one thing that can ruin everything - the weather. In the best case, because of the clouds, nothing will be seen, and at worst ... the flight will be canceled altogether. We had the opportunity to shoot during our flight to the Commsnders Islands.
It is almost impossible to get to these places in any other way. There are no roads on the peninsula. Terrain with a very complex landscape. It is extremely difficult to walk on foot and very dangerous because of the bears. And the speed of movement will be low. So the plane and the helicopter are the main transport in Kamchatka.
When we flew I did not look up from the illuminator. I made a frame-by-frame. What a pity that these planes are terribly dirty and frayed illuminators. The quality of the pictures because of this very much suffers.
It may seem that Kamchatka is alone mountains and volcanoes. But this is not so. There are picturesque river estuaries, valleys full of greenery and sun. Kamchatka is still a kingdom of wild nature. Because of its inaccessibility, the person here is a rare visitor.
Thanks to this you can see a huge number of birds and animals. For this, one does not even need to go far into the peninsula or visit the reserve. All this begins immediately outside the outskirts of Petropavlovsk.
It is a paradise for a wildlife photographer. Everyone can find themselves scenes for shooting to taste. Do you want beautiful and rare birds? You are welcome. Looking for large animals? Soti and thousands of bears are at your service. Do you prefer sea animals? Sea lions can be seen even in the city!
Well, local landscapes can drive anyone crazy. They are beautiful in any weather. On the peninsula, volcanic eruptions occur regularly and you can see lava flows and fields covered with ashes. Photos of these places regularly take prizes in the largest photo contests of the world.
So I'm already thinking about flying to Kamchatka again. And this time to spend more time to be enough for diving and landscapes.

I'm no photographer but I must say that despite what you say, the pictures you have posted are amazing! If only there could be an easier way to access such beauty, even if for a little bit! Maybe they'll build that Hyperloop soon.
Thanks!
We can only dream of Hyperloop)
On the other hand, if the place becomes available, it will not be so good there. People unfortunately quickly destroy everything around.
Wow! Those landscapes are amazing
