myday #46 - I photographed these fireworks to look like a galaxy of stars

in #photography7 years ago

Hello Steemit Followers!

With the 4th July holiday well over I'm sure you have seen your fair share of fireworks this week. Hopefully you are keen to see one more shot!

With this photo I wanted to capture something a little bit different by freezing the fireworks just before they exploded.

Fireworks 013-01.png

Canon EOS 1D MKIV at 140mm - 1/250 - f5.6 - ISO 1250

Being zoomed in quite close I had to track the firework being launched from the land and follow it upward until it reaches its peak.

Then the shutter button had to be pressed just before all the fireworks in the set exploded. The end result made the fireworks look like a galaxy of stars! Kind of cool huh?

dude, that's pretty cool, that's an awesome perspective, you usually see everyone trying to get the explosion but not the before.

Thanks @ogmatador! Glad you like it
