This expression is taken from a German novel and was used by Nazis. This sign can be seen today at the entrance of the Auschwitz concentration camp in Oswiecim, Poland where I had taken the photo.
The concentration camp is a very eerie and dark place but I believe it a must visit for anyone as it reminds us of the atrocity committed and how we must prevent anything like this from happening again.
