Beach Life

in #photography7 years ago (edited)

In Australia, we're pretty lucky. Although we have some of the most dangerous animals on the planet inhabiting our slice of the planet, we're lucky enough to have some of the most amazing beaches.

This morning, before the mercury rose to 38 degrees celsius, i took my family down to the beach for some sun and salt water time.

I left my camera at home this time because sometimes you need to just relax and spend time with the family.

Here's an image i took last year on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland

I wouldn't mind getting teleported to that place. :D

Nice photo!

Now you can visualize it when ever you need to get away @vaitelavicius ;)

Haha, true! :)

That photo is utterly breath taking. I would take a punch in the face from a rooer just to step foot on that sand.

hahahahaha I dont know if i'd take a hit to stand on the sand, but i probably take the beach for granted as its part of the aussie way to go there in summer.

Thank you for your kind words though. Its a bit of a special place for me too

My nearest beach is 8hrs, and its snowing there right now.

8hrs!! I couldnt live like that. Ours is 10mins away...maybe 15 with traffic. Snow on the other hand is about 3-5hrs drive away

I Plan on changing it once Steemit and Crypto become profitable enough for me to sustain being elsewhere.

Damn that looks so blue it's almost surreal! You should make your tag landscapephotography and you'll get a comment about it. Your photos are really damn good so it'll show you how you can get more out of it :) Also check out #colorchallenge. I think Friday was blue but check it out cos this should do well.

Awesome shot! And I almost feel the melanoma calling from the picture ;) whereabouts is this in Sunshine Coast? I live in the region but haven’t seen it yet.

Thank you @itchyfeetdonica. Its one of the beach entrances at Kawana (near the Kawana Surf Club)

Great to know! I was actually in the Kawana Surf Club a few times having 🍺 with friends, but never noticed those beach entrances.

hahaha i've done that more than a few times there ;). Its probably a 5-10min walk south of the Surf club before you get to the footpath behind the resort
