Evening fishing with feathered friends

Dear Hive community,

i want to share some pictures i took from one of my favorite fishing spots in my area. Yes it is the industrial harbor again. Check out my previous post about it if you want to see more. Here however, i want to share some more experimental photos it took. Most of the pictures are from the the bird we meet at this place regularly.

First i want to show you some pictures of a young heron. He love this area and we see him almost every time here.

He is always on the search for small fishes.

If we get to close, he will take off and shout some screams of annoyance towards us.

Sooner or later, he will come back though.

He is to proud to let him get scared away by us.

At this time of the year, you will meet quite a few baby birds here. Here is a goose family enjoying the evening sun.

they are really cute i have to say!

When the sunset in this spot you can be lucky to enjoy a nice colored sunset.

a little bit of fishing in between.

In the evening, the water calms down and you can see amazing reflections.

It was already pretty late, when three baby swans came to check out what we were up to.

After they realized that we are no thread and just boring fisher man, they prefered to take care of their feather a bit.

I was surprised to see them out so late in the evening. But on of there parents was close by. It was weird that we only saw one of the parents. usually there are two of them around. We discovered a bunch of swan feathers nearby, hopefully the other parent swan is still alive somewhere.
