Cote d'Azur 2017: Best of Frence

in #photography7 years ago

It's summer ! Then we stop for a long time the long hikes (it is really too hot for that) and we file at the beach to refresh. But no question of basking in the sun for hours, only discovering the tips of his toes ... And who said that the beach was boring? We are exploring today the beach of Pointe de l'Aiguille in Théoule-sur-Mer.

When you live on the Cote d'Azur, you get tired of long hours spent at the beach. Here you can sunbathe almost all year round, and you do not need to maximize the two weeks of annual vacation to create a perfect tan. And then I remind you that the sun is bad for health! Between cancer and premature aging of the skin, long ago I can not find anything sexy to "cramer" in the sun. Living in a sunny region, one becomes aware of all this, and one protects much. A little tan is very good, but not in spite of health.
All this to say that the beach is not for me a place of predilection. I get bored quickly because I do not enjoy any fun to stay while waiting for the UV to do their work. On the other hand, I love my walk along the sea, do some diving and above all discover pretty little corners of paradise, between land and sea!
And as I always share my adventures and discoveries with you, I wanted to talk to you about a really cool beach. It is the beach of Pointe de l'Aiguille, in Théoule-sur-Mer. It is not easy to find pretty, quiet beaches on the French Riviera. And most tourists simply go to the simplest. We put our towel along the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, like millions of tourists every year, or on any beach by the road, easy to get to. But crowded beaches do not necessarily appeal to everyone. So if you are looking for something original, where you will not be overrun by the crowd, this beach will certainly please you.

No sand on this beach ... Big pebbles await you, so it is clearly not ideal for all those who only wish to tan, I have already warned you. But the setting is extremely nice and will delight the little adventurers and all those who like to "move". Climb on the big reddish rocks, and jump in the water for the brave, admire the cavities formed by the relief, or just make dozens of photos ... It is a beach that lives!
Plan shoes to go in the water because there are many rocks of different sizes and it quickly hurts the feet. You can also plan the mask and snorkel because the water is clear and beautiful. But beware the days of swell, because the waves and the current can be strong at this place. Also note that it is a wild beach and therefore there are no toilets or showers. There may also be a strong influx in high season, as the beach is very popular with locals. If you pass over all this, two small coves that plunge into splendid blue waters, overlooking the bay of Cannes and the islands of Lérens, await you.

if you go through the Cote d'Azur in summer, do not miss this lovely beach, fun and wild. And if you stay long enough, you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. This beach contrasts perfectly with the long public beaches (a bit boring) that are found all over the coast. Jump out of your briefcase and explore!
