I hope your hiatus has recharged your batteries and provided what you needed it to. I was disappointed to see you were inactive when I got back on the platform.
I am a good Hegelian. If you have a good theory, forget about the past reality.
I would think it would be a dialetic. Thesis - Antithesis - Synthesis. We simply carry forward the past and reconcile it with the present to bring about a new future. ;)
