3 Sec. f/16 48 mm, ISO 400, natural afternoon light
Last year had been the fiesta of the slugs in my garden. This summer, it´s the season of ants. The type of ants we have are black or rather brown in color. Just have a closer look at the macros I made....they are really brown . As usual they were so industrious roaming on that trumpet vine searching for something to gather. Since there was a bit of wind yesterday, I had the idea of cutting the trumpet vine (flowers) from the branch and placed it on top of a table.
1/8 Sek. f/5,6 50 mm ...ISO 400, macro extension tubes, shutter cable release used
I spent almost an hour to take shots of them. It´s difficult to take photos because they are always on the move. And so I set the tripod and attached the extension tubes of my camera for these macro shots.

Thank you.. I wanted to ask you @pjprivett where in Spain do you stay when you go there for a holiday?
I don't know where I'll be next time as all our plans are not complete. Previously we have stayed in Puerto de Santa Maria. Lovely place!
