Hello, dears. I took this photo in a farm, this beautiful dog has heterochromia that's a different coloration of the iris. But, why it happens? It's determined by the production and concentration of melanin, the pigment we have in the skin, hair and, of course, the iris. And yes, it's genetic, maybe the sons of this dog would have it. The heterochromia could be partial (just a little bit of the iris has a different coloration) or total.
What do you think about this exotic characteristic? Do you like it?
