For the past several years the New York City Ballet, at Lincoln Center, has hosted art installations during the performance seasons. They're all big in scope and let artists take chances in a big venue, the lobby of their theater (formerly known as New York State Theater). They don't always work for me but hey, that's what taking chances is all about. Some of them are amazing and good, bad or indifferent I'm always impressed that they continue to take artistic risks both in the realm of art as well as on stage.
In this installation I love the vibrant colors and feeling of weightlessness that all these balloons convey. Maybe you respond differently. Maybe you want to have a big pin to pop them all?
