The famous 12 Apostles on the west coast of Victoria, Australia were created by the relentless carving out of the coastal limestone by the stormy Southern Ocean around 10-20 million years ago.
Caves became arches & when they finally collapsed rock stacks were left, some of which are 45 meters in height.
This area is a haven for tourists visiting the area & arguably the most famous section of coastline in Australia.
