He is going so slowly, despite trying his best. In fact, snails can travel just over one mph and so can get 25 metres in the 24 hours. Garden snails (Helix apersa) reach a top speed of 50 yards per hour; this is about 0.5 inches per second. While they don't move fast, they do move at a very steady pace. Snails are one of the slowest creatures on the Earth.
Some people hate snails and bugs in general but I find them to be quite interesting and beautiful. There are so many wonderful creatures that are living around us that we barely notice. It’s good to make time to look at the world around us and appreciate all the animals when we have an opportunity to do so.
Do you feel like the world is going so slowly at the moment? Or is it just me? Seems like almost a year has gone and it’s both slow and fast at the same time. The days for me seem very slow, like I’m living the same day repeating it over and over. It’s like living in a time loop.
I do realise it’s not the same day I’m not that crazy but things are the same, maybe it’s not so bad to go slow.
