Thanks for the consideration, and especially for this contest.
There doesn't seem to be much support for mobile photographers. I think I've got some OK photos, but a lot of the people in #photography won't even look at a photo unless it comes from a thousand dollar camera. So thank you for this contest.
The no-resteem thing is just me trying to keep my profile page clean. I've resteemed a couple of contests in the past and I really dislike that they show up on my profile. I only want my posts on my profile page.
I am a photographer, but I love using my phone to take photos on the go. Unless I'm on a trip, I'm not gonna carry my big ass camera with me, it's just too much. Even when I'm on a trip, I still take a lot of photos with my phone. So keep it going!
I don't think people can tell if a photo is from a dslr or a phone from just a preview pic. Especially when a lotta smartphones' photo quality is really catching up. If you check my posts, you'll find that quite some of them are taken with a phone and it's really hard to tell that it's not from a pro camera.
I've always like this saying "Your equipments don't determin the quality of your photos". Also, people who have pro cameras don't necessarily take good photos. It's you and your eyes that matter, not the machine. :)
I know exactly about not wanting to always bring the camera out. I could have bought and carried an expensive camera on my 2-year trip, but it was just too much to carry and protect.
I also know myself. I know that if I can't fit it in my pocket, I probably won't bring it with me when I go drinking or adventuring. But now that I'm a little older, and not living in hotels, I think it's about time to buy myself a real camera.
The times where I would bring my proper camera is when I'm travelling. I just use the strap and carry it on my shoulder. But I guess I'm so used to that. If I'm going on an adventure, I'll definitely bring my proper camera. As good as phone camera can be today, it's still limited in a lot of situations.
Don't get me wrong. I love using my phone, but I love my camera as well haha.
Best wishes towards that! If you need help picking out a camera, hit me up! Btw I just followed you, love your photos! The street art one is awesome! If you like check out my work as well and let me know what you think of them :)
