4th of July fireworks must be amazing there most years, so I'm glad it was extra special last year.

Sunsets are great no matter where we are. Even in the city they can look gorgeous. At the Shenandoah Valley, you hit the jackpot.

Speaking of Shenandoah Valley....

One of the 5 US quarters minted in 2014 commemorated Shenandoah National Park. It's part of a series of quarters honoring national parks and monuments. Including the 6 territories, 56 quarters in the series were minted 5 per year for 10 years and 6 in one year. This series lasted from 2010 through 2021. I have no idea what happens starting in 2022, but I'm guessing another series of quartes will be minted.
