When I visited Havana a few months ago I was lucky to be part of the worker’s day celebration. All workers from havana joined in an enormous march towards the revolution square to listen to a speech by the president Raul Castro.
Everyone gathered at 7AM with their own company to start the parade together.
Many drumbands, dj's and dancing people everywhere. A lot of people spend the night before prepartying at the waterside in the Malecon area to continue the party at the parade in the morning.
A sugar company from the ministry of agriculture
Also foreign companies take part of the parade (This is obviously a Chinese company)
Even though the revolution square is enormous, most people did not fit on the square. It was hard to hear the Castro speech from this far away.
