Acapulco Bay: One of Our Last Storms of the Year

in #photography7 years ago

As we move into the dry season we really only expect little daytime random storms like the one showed in this post that happened a few days ago. It came from a weird direction and hit us randomly and left quickly, giving us just enough time to get these shots.

Do you ever gt real flooding from the storms? Is there a flood wall system in place?? Thanks for the photo shoot.

The streets are designed with high curbs and huge sewers underneath to direct the flow to the bay. So the roads fill with rushing water during bad storms but it doesn't stay put, it all just runs downhill into the bay. During a bad storm the bay will change to a tanish color from the runoff.

On the other side of the mountain however where some expats live is a flood plain and regularly ends up with lots of water from big hurricanes.

It is really a heart touching beautiful photography.so superb
let me ask dear @lily-da-vine , do people boating in the rushing water of the storm or they avoid?

I don't think I understand what exactly you are asking, please rephrase?
