After a week of continuous snowfall and gusty winds well over 140 km/h, early in the morning, on the Stokksnes black beach, we exploit the unique sunny hours of our stay in Iceland. Walking through the rhyolite, a volcanic rock that takes on different colors, my attention is caught by some pallets wrapped in a rusty wire, probably deposited by waves during the last storm. To take this shot I had to move several rocks in order to create a sufficiently high base for my tripod.
