Petai has a flat and long seed shape, and is round like an almond. The most special thing about Petai is of course its distinctive smell. Some people don't mind the smell, while others don't like the smell produced from petai. The way to eat them is also varied, petai can be eaten raw, fried, burned, or boiled. In Indonesia, petai is usually served together with fried rice, balado fries, or fresh vegetables.
Petai is also known as parkia speciosa. Besides the smell, it also feels typical. Petai feels a bit bitter, but make no mistake, petai still likes many people. Even though the aroma is quite striking, petai has a myriad of benefits.
Some benefits of petai for health:
Contains antioxidants
Lowering blood sugar levels
