As I promised in my last post. I decided to add some photos of Ultimate Frisbee. First weekend in June I had the opportunity to take photos on the biggest Europian tournament in Ultimate Frisbee called Windmill.
Photo taken at Open finals between Clapham Ultimate(UK) and FreeSpeed Basel(SUI)
Camera settings: ISO 500, 91mm, f/4.0, 1/6400
It is an awesome event in Amsterdam(NL). There are top teams from whole Europe and also some teams from USA... On this tournament you can find super high intensity games, crazy parties and whatever you can imagine to have on Ultimate Tournament!! :)
The spirit animal of this tournament is an elephant called Herbie!
Camera settings: ISO500, 135mm, f/4.0, 1/8000
Also you can find all categories on Windmill. The largest is the Mixed division, with 40 teams on the tournament!
Camera settings: ISO640, 126mm, f/5.5, 1/5000
As the name of the division says you can see guys and girls on the field at the same time in almost same ratio. Either 4 guys and 3 girls or 4 girls and 3 guys. This and the absence of referees makes Ultimate Frisbee so unique!
Camera settings: ISO500, 91mm, f/4.5, 1/4000
The other two divisions are diveded by gender to Women and Men/Open. Women division is much slower and not that spectacular in my opinion. But I use to play in women teams sometimes so I have to add at least one snap of Women Ultimate. :D
Camera settings: ISO320, 200mm, f/4.0, 1/4000
In Men/Open Ultimate you can see some fine hucks, matchups, layouts, tight defences...! So it's much more fun to shoot than Women Ultimate. And also you caen check some really athletic guys on field. :D

Camera settings: ISO500, 70mm, f/4.5, 1/8000
As I wrote in the beginning the people on Windmill are great, they cheer for the teams in finals and making the game so much better and tighter!
Camera settings: ISO500, 70mm, f/4.0, 1/800
And again they are a bit crazy. :D with their jerseys and sometimes even without them! I have photo of completely naked guy runnig on the field in the middle of the Mixed finals! But I decided it's maybe to much to share it here :D!
Camera settings: ISO500, 200mm, f/4.0, 1/5000
Well this is my longest story here yet, so I hope you'll enjoy it and don't fall asleep somewhere in the middle of reading. Also I decided to start adding the info about my camera setting I use for photos.
This summer I'm also the main photographer at EYUCup 2017 in Debrecen(HUN) and EYUC 2017 in Veenendaal(NL). Both of them are Juniors championships in Ultimate Frisbee and Im super psyched for the invitation!
It would be lovely to hear you opinions! And also tell me if you want to see some more Ultimate photos or some wildlife photography I started to take recently! I'll try to post what you like better!
Best tournament ever!
Nice shots! :)
