Yes it must be OK. I just tend to get frustrated when I'm feeling low or unproductive. I don't like the feeling that hits me when inspiration flies away.
But well out of frustration, sadness or whatever, groves creativity. You are absolutely right about that, even if it's hard to realise at some points.
