When my husband (@peter.jirak btw, he just started blogging on Steemit, check him out) and I moved to Seattle, we were struck with how magical the Pacific Northwest seemed. Then we discovered that there was a flock of overwintering hummingbirds that hung around because our neighbor puts out hummingbird feeders. Recently our neighbors moved out and with great dismay I realized that we might lose our hummingbirds because they took their feeders with them!

So within one hour I had Amazon Prime Now deliver a feeder and nectar. This of course sparked a need to get the best hummingbird picture possible. I am still trying to get the perfect shot, but the above picture is a pretty excellent one.

That’s a fabulous shot amazon prime jowbis brilliant for situations like this isn't it
Thanks. I hope to get some even more amazing ones as the light here in Seattle increases, from 8 hours of cloud covered daylight to 16 hours of clear sunny skies in the summer.

I look forward to seeing them 😎
Wow what a great photograph and such a sweet little humming bird , Thanks for the Share
They are so hard to capture in flight. Keep up the challenge. As you know its never possible to get the 'perfect picture' as you always want something a little better.
