My travel blog. Magic journey to Vietnam: First day. Arrival in Sapa.

First steps on mountain Sapa in Vietnam.

After arrival in the capital of Vietnam - Hanoi- we ordered a taxi to the beautiful mountain town of Sapa. This was our first goal for the trip. So about 5-hour transfer and a steep, winding climb up the mountain by car, and we finally saw what this region is famous for - its fabulous nature and unforgettable mountain air.

Our hotel was located directly above the city and had a stunning view of the entire valley.

After 1 hour break in our hotel on the edge of mountain we decided to go down in town and make evening promenade in purpose of get acquainted with local attractions and fill up our stomachs with some food. Our goals were completed 100% - we returned to our suits full of brightest impression and noodle soups :)

Good news for those who are just about to start learning English - in Vietnam there is not much need for it! :)

Like real Soviet citizens-Communists, most of the Vietnamese speak only their native and favorite language/ (it's a joke - english is better learn and know just in case :)). Here the ears of a tired tourist can finally cool and relax: no "mister", "taxi", "massage" (like in Tai or Goa) accompany Your cultural trip to local sightseeings. Everything is quiet, calm, almost like at home. So you can safely transfer meditation classes to your balcony!

Well, it's time for us to take a short break after today's almost 20-hour journey and indulge in reverent sleep, tomorrow we are waiting for new adventures and new acquaintances!

And a couple of photocards from our evining walk:
