Today I want to invite you to make a little trip to the city of Florence thanks to some of the photos I took when I was there.
I'm going to divide the photos into two posts. The first devoted solely to the old part of the city and the second part dedicated to the Uffizi Gallery, located in the Palace of the Medicis family, one of the most famous families of this city during the Renaissance period. The art collection in that place is so impressive that it deserves a separate post.
The whole ancient area is located on the banks of the river Arno, which runs through the city. Many bridges cross it, being the best known of all the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio). Pretty old and destroyed by the way.
You can have a magnificent view of this whole part from the adjacent elevations.
And the house of whom I found walking there?
Yes, the house of Dante Alighieri.
The next post will be to see some of the wonders that hides the Uffizi Gallery.
Amazing pics Juan!
Brings back amazing memories from my visit to Florence in 2013.
