It's our dry season: we don't get a monsoon in the SF Bay Area. The rains will start in mid to the end of October. However, it is August, which some of the locals have nicknamed 'Fogust' because we can get very thick, wet fogs rolling in. The fogs can be so thick you cannot see a drop off next to you when hiking on a trail.
Thank you.
