Nock Mountains / Nockberge

in #photography6 years ago

Because the whole of yesterday and the last night was rainy, and even today's Saturday is rather cold and gray in gray, I wanted to show a few sunny photos, and what a surprise, I have found some photos from the Nock Mountains, which I have photographed in best mountain weather 😉

A few days ago I posted photos from Windebensee on the Nockalm Road in the Nockberge (Nock Mountains) National Park.

On my motorbike trip through the Nock Mountains, I made a few more photos of this beautiful mountain area, of course.

The road is beautifully developed and is constantly checked for stones or other obstacles - a dream for motorcyclists.

Die Straße ist wunderschön ausgebaut und wird laufend auf Steine oder andee Hindernisse kontrolliert - ein Traum für Motorradfahrer.

That is one gorgeous set of photos! :-)

Thank you so much that you like my photos, @saboin 😊

They are taken just beside the road, because with my motorbike boots I cannot hike in the mountains ;)

On the packaging of milk chocolate, they write that it is made from milk of Alpine cows))) Why do not I see cows that give life to milk chocolate?)) Beautiful pictures, my Dear friend @Johannpiber! If they adorned a package of milk chocolate, I would buy such chocolate, despite the fact that I like dark chocolate more)) My gaze rested, looking at these pictures! Thank you my friend and good night to you!

Next time I will photograph some cows too, my friend, because they are there, I have seen them 😉
Thank you so much again for your very nice words, my friend @barski. I wish you a good night and a great sunday tomorrow 😊

Du hast ein Upvote erhalten, ein Grund zur Freude

Dankeschön, ich bin für jedes Upvote dankbar 😊

I love green and mountaneous landscapes...maybe because I live in the (french) alps...=)

I have grown up in such an environment, and the city where I live, is near the mountains - I love it these landscapes too 😉
Thank you so much, Luigi 😊

What spectacular scenery and clearly a beautiful day and I love those clouds over the countryside

I hope the weather tomorrow is better for you

Thank you so much JJ :)
Ths region is so very beautiful, and the view is great into all directions.

I don’t think there are many places here that come even close to some of the amazing scenery you have in your area

Oh, thank you so much JJ, but I would say look towards the Rocky Mountains or drive a few hours north to Canada ... I remember the photos, which my father has made in your beautiful New Zealand, when he has been there many years ago, hiking from north to the south.

Ohh yes very true there are some beautiful areas here even in New England and Connecticut I am sure I just haven’t explored as much as I could have I guess

But in New Zealand for sure and the country is relatively small so nothing is ever that far away lol 😂

America is such a big country with so many beautiful areas.

New Zealand is somehow like Austria - everything is so close together, but there's a beach around NZ :)

I think there is probably a lot is similarities between our two countries well my home country and yours well I have been here so long and may retire here I should say my birth Country and yours so much natural beauty in. Relatively small country

The big difference being as you say NZ is surrounded by water and no close neighbors and Austria the opposite

Very spectacular scenery of magnificent mountains and wonderful sky! I also love that there are plenty of huge white clouds over there. Driving on the road with this view would make me very happy! Thanks so much for sharing. ;)

You are right, my friend, driving and especially motorbike riding on this road does make really happy. The landscape and the mountains there are beautiful, and on that day the weather was beautiful too, what made it a perfect motorbike trip.

Thank you so much for your kind comment, @tangmo 😊

You're welcome!

Again, you were very lucky to experience it by your own eyes! ;)

Howdy sir johannpiber! those aren't bad shots at all. The mountains are a little small, foothills compared to the Rocky Mountains but hey, you gotta work with what you got eh?

Good morning @janton 😊

Yeah, I know, they used to be much higher, but so many tourists are climbing the mountains and the mountains are somehow getting worn out and getting smaller - does that make any sense? ;) lol

... but thank you that you like the photos anyway 😉

lol! Dang tourists suck but what you gonna do? It's also a nice income for the country. Yes that makes total sense and I believe you! lol.

I think, every tourist, who hikes or climbs up a mountain, should carry a few stones and put them on the peak. This way the mountains would stay as high as they are ;) lolYes, @janton, it's a nice income, but in a few thousand years there will be no mountains anymore - what then? :)))

Still makes sense? ... It's dang hot today 😎 😵

lol..Yes sir johannpiber you make perfect sense! "dang" hot? sounds like a little redneck language sneaking through, I think you are part redneck, in fact I know you are because of the Harley!
Ok, how hot is dang hot? Here it is 40C.

I have read that "dang" word sometimes in your comments, and I have thought, this heat today was really "dang", but we didn't have 40 degrees Celsius - it was certainly over 30C. I cannot remember, if we have ever had 40C. Is 30C "dang" or too less?

Oh, Redneck because of my Harley? I am not the typical Harley rider, and my Sportster is not the typical Harley - I even greet Mopeds, when they greet me, but please don't tell anyone ;) lol

lol! you don't sneer at mopeds? lol..very unusual Harley driver for sure! Yes sir, 30C is dang hot for you guys. Over here it would be considered a cold front but over there you might pass out from the heat!

I have grown up in such an area, but I am still impressed, when I see mountains and regions like these.
