A few days ago I showed an amazing sunrise - Fiery Sunrise / Feuriger Sonnenaufgang. On the opposite site of the sunrise, I was able to photograph the phenomenon of Alpenglowing. | Vor ein paar Tagen habe ich einen wunderschönen Sonnenaufgang gezeigt - Fiery Sunrise / Feuriger Sonnenaufgang. Genau gegenüber des Sonnenaufganges konnte ich dann noch das Phänomen des Alpenglühens fotografieren. |

Amazing photos @johannpiber , I can imagine that you have to be in the right position between the mountains and the sun, to capture Alpenglow phenomenon. Really amazing photos.

The alenglow happens on the mountain peaks right opposite of the sunrise, but you are right, you have to be at the right place to see it :)

I agree that luck is a factor but you have to have the good equipment to take full advantage of that luck, plus know the right settings and angles and all that stuff! lol.
