Macabr'Ology

This past December, I and friend the artist Ita Branco collaborated in a new visual project entitled Macabr'Ology.

The exhibition of freaks, monstruosities or wonders of nature was an essential component in the traveling exhibitions of Europe and America throughout the Victorian period. It was within this imaginary and revivalism that Macabr'Ology was created. Macabr'Ology is the object of study of the macabre, the cult of the bizarre. An Ode to the odd, singular contemplation of the sublime in the grotesque.

Our work was exhibited at the BlackSheep Art Gallery during last December. We built an artistic installation comprising the works of Ita Branco, my photographs, and vintage furniture refurbished by the Unike Studios.
