Birds fly over the rainbow, why can't, oh why can't I?

Stopped by the beach today for lunch. I wanted to give myself the day off because my birthday fepl on the weekend, so my thought was, why not?

One of the most beautiful things on Earth is a rainbow. It's beauty represents so many different aspects. For one, it signals that the rains that fell from the sky, bringing darkness, have passed and a brighter day is still ahead. Almost all colors of the spectrum are represented, with multiple shades of yellow, reds and oranges, all parts of refracted light off the fallen water. In Biblical terms, it represents the promise that God made to never flood the Earth again. In the Old Testament, God flooded the Earth, yet saved Noah by having him build an Ark for him, his family and 2 of each animal species. Once rains had subsided God displayed the rainbow and the promise that this would never happen again, no matter how much wickedness existed here on Earth.

To me, it also represents perseverance. Even though everything might "rain" down on you, at some point the light will shine through and pleasant days are ahead. Truly a beautiful site to see and brings joy, even on a rainy day.

One love,
