I recently visited Arizona and stopped outside Phoenix for gas. Aside from the wonderful sunset, there were 10s of thousands of birds flocking. What can't be fully appreciated in the first photo is how the tree is sagging under the weight of all the birds perched densely throughout its entire reticulation of branches, nor the other trees out of frame.
Or the power lines in the background. If you load the full second image and look in the background you can start to get a sense for just how many birds there were - and there was plenty of power line that wouldn't fit into the photo:
