Sony A9 & A7RIII Digital Camera Delivery

Full review to follow and extensive test in the field.

Today seemed a little like Christmas in February, as I took delivery of a package from LensRentals and Sony. Over the next 20 days or so I will be using Sony's flagship full frame 24mp digital camera the A9 and the 42mp A7RII. 

Lens combinations will be: 

• Sony FE 85mm f/1.4 GM
• Sony SEL16-35GM 16-35mm f/2.8
• Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS
• Sony FE 100-400mm F4.5–5.6 GM OSS

I will be using the equipment during a number of events including 2018 Daytona 500, Mets Spring Training, Spring Training Portraits and PGA Honda Classic. This should give me a wide range of use to really determine the potential for the smaller mirrorless cameras in the professional sports fields. 

My Current equipment that I use on a daily basis for work is 

• Nikon D4s (3)
• Nikon 14-24 f/2.8
• Nikon 24-70 f/2.8
• Nikon 70-200 f/2.8
• Nikon 200-400 f/4

I am excited about the potential for smaller lighter gear that packs a punch with the feature set and output of todays technology.
