No snow - I have had the best Autumn weather that day - it was quite warm and no cloud was on the sky. This hike was about 3 weeks ago, but now there is a lot of snow up there.

So you got there right before the snow started, that was good planning. Are you going back to show what it looks like in the snow?
In winter you have to hike up there in the snow, because the snow will not be removed from the forest road up to the mountain pasture. This hike takes about 3 hours without snow and is kind of boring, because you walk most times on the gravel road. I don't think I will hike up there in winter - there are other mountains where I'll go hiking and photographing 🙂
But I could take photos in the valley looking up 😉

That sounds like tons of work! Do you have to wear snow shoes?
I don't have snow shoes yet, but I want to buy a pair, because it is much easier to walk on the snow.

And even though your feet are as big as Big Foot's feet, they could still be larger for walking on snow. lol. Are those things still made of basket like material? Probably not, they are probably plastic or something. Are they expensive?
They are much lighter today because they are made of plastics and/or carbon fibre and they cost from 200 Euros 🙂
