The most epic over/under water shot we have ever taken! -Siargao, Philippines

It wasn't the first take and I won't lie it took us a while to get this right but what we ended up with was an epic memory of our time at Magpupungko Tide Pools on the island of Siargao in the Philippines.

It was shot using a GoPro dome, which gives seperation between the camera and water, enabling the photographer to shoot above and below the water!

People don't understand how thrilling cliff jumping is. Hitting a air trick as well though, damn gets me excited.

Have fun and be safe! Keep posting the world for others to see. You've already inspired me.

Incredible shot! well done.

Thanks so much mate!

Wow that looks amazing.. envious :)

This is the coolest picture I've seen in steemit. Just pure awesomeness!

Thanks so much I appreciate that. There are plenty more to come it is my first photo I have posted to Steemit haha!

I've been to Siargao last year (nostalgia).I can't wait for the coming photo, dude. Keep that passion burning!

OMG this is such a fantastic shot!I always wondered how shots like that are made, now gopro dome is definitely on my list. Thank you!

Thanks so much. It was shot on GoPro with a dom. It's a glass half circle that attaches to the GoPro to separate the water about 6 inches from the dome. This way you can shoot over the water and under the water thanks to the separation. And the two people in the water (me and my friend) just have to time their run. You shoot the GoPro in burst mode so it gets a good chance to catch the moment when the water is exactly 50/50. It takes 30 photos per second once you click the trigger so you can't miss it!

Awesome info, thank you! :)

Even if it wasn't the first take but I bet you had so much fun having this photo shoot! :)

Yea it's a creative process!

Please follow back

I've been to Magpupungko Tidal Pool as well but I never got the chance to take any photos because I don't have an underwater camera. Too bad! I was there for 6 days just surfing in the afternoon but working on my laptop in the morning.
