I am a huge fan of Sundays. It is THE DAY that you can dedicate exclusively for yourself. This is what I did.
I dedicated to myself.
And knowing what a huge fan of cakes I am, I have also dedicated it to a mixture of flour, finely chopped almonds, butter, sugar and egg (for the bottom layer).
I've put this beauty into the oven for 15-20 minutes, at 200C.
I've sliced apples, mixed them with cinnamon and sugar (you can switch it to stevia for a healthier version) and put them into the pot for around 8 minutes. Apples went straight on top of the cute bottom layer and it was the perfect time for meringue! Or... merengue? I mean, whipping egg whites with sugar is kind of a dance! After this session of beautifying something that is already perfect, I've spread it on top of apples and... into the oven for 15-20 minutes.
My table greets your table!
How do you celebrate Sundays?
Tchau,
Ginta
