This picture was taken in the Nautical Club from my parents town around September last year. It's not a fancy Nautical Club like in the movies, it's little, rusty and it's actually set in a river. But it's a very common place where people go in the summer to take a bath with the kids.
I used to go when I was very little with my grandma. It was kind of weird for me, I wasn't from there and all the kids had their friends of the school. But I slaved my uncle to play with me. When I came back last year, everything was almost the same. The swimming pool, the playground, the tennis court, the bar, the little candy and ice cream shop, everything was exactly the same as the last time I was there, probably 2001 or 2002.
For some reason I thought it would have changed a lot or at least improved a bit, as it's a very important place for the town's people during the year, and specially during Summer. About the picture, I think it summaries a bit the thoughts that I'm trying to explain, a giant spider web attached to the lifebelt, almost like it's never been used, also with that dawn light slowly going down.
This photo was shot with a Sony ILCE-7M, f/4,5 and 1/500, can't remember the ISO.
