Worker bees

Anyone knows that honey is made from bees by changing the nectar from the flowers and collected in the nest and into the honey. So, how the process from nectar to honey?
The bees, like other colony insects, have their own duties. Most of the so-called groups of worker bees every day should pick up the collected nectar.

This worker bee has a bag in his body that can store nectar. The bag has the capacity to accommodate the nectar produced between 150 to 1500 flowers. As  a symbol of mutualism, the bees provide a bonus for the interest taken  nectar is a delivery of pollen that helps the process of fertilization  of flowers.

After the pocket of the nectar carrier is full, the bees return to the nest. In the nest has been waiting for several other bees assigned to await the return of the worker bees. This group is called a house bee, its job of receiving nectar and then processed in the mouth and stomach. Inside the mouth and stomach of the home bee there are certain enzymes. The  enzymes serve to break down the sugar form in the disaccharide-shaped  nectar into monosaccharides, so the shape becomes simpler.

The result of nectar processing is then laid by the bees on the nest. Initially, nectar has a water content of 70 to 80 percent, so the shape is very liquid. However, after going through several processes, the water content dropped to just 18 percent. As a result, his form becomes thick.
This  decrease in water content occurs due to processing with enzymes and  also the temperature of the honeycomb which is generally enough to make  water evaporate. Finally, the nectar whose sugar form has been simplified and its thick form is what we know as honey.
