InThreeFrames #2 - Wroclaw Market Square After Dark

W najbliższy weekend wybieram się do Wrocławia zobaczyć w końcu świąteczne jarmarki. W ostatnich latach razem z żoną raczej wybieraliśmy zagraniczne miasta takie jak Praga, Budapeszt czy Wiedeń. W tym roku zdecydowaliśmy sie na rodzime miasto, ojczyste miasto. Z tej okazji seria trzech zdjęć, które zrobiłem podczas ostatniej wizyty we Wrocławiu właśnie, która no cóż… minęło już ponad 6 lat, od kiedy byłem tam ostatni raz.

Wszystkie trzy zdjęcia zostały zrobione po zmroku z użyciem statywu i Nikona d500, którego już dawno nie posiadam i czasami żałuję, że te lustrzankę sprzedałem. Uwielbiam tego typu zdjęcia miejskie, kiedy jest już ciemno, ale nie zapadła jeszcze pełnoprawna noc. Niebo jest ciemnoniebieskie co stwarza idealną, kolorystyczną harmonię z ciepłym światłem latarni. W tym przypadku latarni rynku wrocławskiego. Na pierwszym zdjęciu dodatkowo zobaczycie smugi światła na tle nieba. Szczerze mówiąc nie pamiętam dokładnie co za latające obiekty je pozostawiły, ale efekt mi sie podoba. Na drugim zdjęciu natomiast wkradł się efekt „duchów” za sprawą ludzi poruszających się przed obiektywem przy długim czasie naświetlania.

Do dzisiaj pamiętam, jak ciężko było mi wpaść na dobre kompozycje kadru tego wieczora. Najgorzej było w przypadku trzeciego zdjęcia. Nie jestem z niego zadowolony pod tym względem. Ratuje je jedynie klimat stworzony przez oświetlenie, oraz fakt, że budynek ratusza sam w sobie robi wrażenie i broni ogólny wydźwięk tego zdjęcia.

Liczę, że w ten weekend przywiozę wiele ciekawych zdjęć, chodź nie nastawiam się ogólnie na typowe fotografowanie ze statywem i planowanie szczególnych kadrów. Aparat będzie po prostu pod ręką. Wyjazd jest rodzinny i ma służyć wspólnemu przeżywaniu przedświątecznego nastroju towarzyszącemu jarmarkowi. I delektowaniu się grzańcem :)

This weekend I'm going to Wroclaw to finally see the Christmas markets. In recent years, my wife and I have preferred foreign cities such as Prague, Budapest or Vienna. This year we decided to go to our hometown. On this occasion, a series of three photos that I took during my last visit to Wroclaw, which, well... it's been over 6 years since I was there for the last time.

All three photos were taken after dark using a tripod and a Nikon d500, which I haven't owned for a long time and sometimes I regret selling this SLR. I love this type of city photos when it's already dark, but it's not yet a full-fledged night. The sky is dark blue, which creates a perfect, color harmony with the warm light of the lantern. In this case, the lighthouse of the Wroclaw market. In the first photo, you will also see streaks of light against the sky. To be honest, I don't remember exactly what flying objects left them, but I like the effect. In the second photo, however, the effect of "ghosts" crept in due to people moving in front of the lens with a long exposure time.

To this day I remember how hard it was for me to come up with good compositions of the frame that evening. The worst was in the case of the third photo. I'm not happy with him in that respect. They are saved only by the atmosphere created by the lighting, and the fact that the town hall building itself is impressive and defends the overall tone of this photo.

I hope that this weekend I will bring a lot of interesting photos, but I don't generally set myself up for typical photography with a tripod and planning special frames. The camera will just be at hand. The trip is family and is intended to serve to experience the pre-Christmas mood accompanying the fair together. And enjoying mulled wine :)
