Caribbean artistic bird
If you have ever been to the Caribbean or Central America, you may know about these famous woodpeckers. I want to share with you a picture I took many years ago. I've always loved these little birds because you hear them pecking from a good distance away. Interestingly, they are also the only capable of drilling holes in horizontal lines?
Yellow-bellied sapsucker [Sphyrapicus varius]
Do you see the horizontal little holes on the coconut tree? These guys are exclusively responsible for that artwork. Amazing little creatures.
