I live near a botanical garden and love to go there to relax and enjoy my time there with some of my friends. Sometimes, it's nice to go alone and just gather my thoughts and people watch. So, today I am going to show you two trees from one of my favorite places to visit. One is the infamous palm tree that everyone loves getting a shot of by standing underneath it.
And the other is a small bonsai tree.
I'd like to thank @old-guy-photos for hosting "Tree Tuesday". Since I am new to Steemit, this gives me something to post about and also lets me try a little harder at making myself a better photographer!

Where were you at in Michigan?
Very nice! I got a bonsai kit for my birthday one time, I think it was dead within a couple of weeks. I love them though, they are so interesting and deep. The palm tree photo is great as well! We have a small garden area where I grew up and I used to love going there as a kid.
@bozz I once got one for Christmas and mine did not make it long either so don't feel too bad! We obviously do not have green thumbs when it comes to the bonsai!
Not at all, I can grow tomatoes like a mother though. My wife and I both are not very adept and growing plants and keeping them alive. Weeds on the other hand we have an over abundance of in our flower beds!
@bozz Yes, tomatoes, lettuce, and things like that, I can also grow, just not the bonsai! haha
The palm tree looks like a nice spot for an afternoon nap. I could definitely use an afternoon nap.
